New Resident Letter

Dear New Homeowner,

Welcome to Hunters Glen Estates! We are pleased to have you as a neighbor in this community of 264 homes. We would like to provide some information that might be helpful as you settle in.

The goals of the Hunters Glen Homeowners’ Association (HOA) are to support and maintain our safe and beautiful neighborhood and to sponsor social events throughout the year. Twice a year we hold a community garage sale. In the spring is a parade, egg hunt and picnic, and in the fall, National Night Out. In December, don’t miss our holiday open house. Through the year, we have Meet-Your-Neighbor nights at nearby restaurants. We have also hosted seminars on topics of interest and hold annual association meetings.

We invite you to become a member of the HOA. Go to the “Annual Dues” tab and pay your dues. Next fill out the “Membership Form” and email it to George Kizer, the membership chairman.

Through our web site we send out information about lost pets and crime (fortunately very little) and information about social activities. Enclosed is a membership form and information of how to register on the website. Registering allows you access to information confidential to members.

Annual dues are $100 per year with a reminder statement mailed annually. All of the dues are used to landscape and maintain entrances, host the web site, and sponsor social activities and programs. Today we benefit from the beautiful oak trees planted throughout our neighborhood with HOA funds about 20 years ago.

We have an active Crime Watch program in conjunction with the Plano Police Department.
